We have a new team member here at Whitney Green Acupuncture. Welcome Eden Choi to the team. Eden has written a short bio to help introduce herself.
I aspire to be a doctor of Oriental Medicine! I was previously on track to go to M.D. school. However, after a study abroad to Kunming, China for a look into traditional health practices, I fell in love with their holistic approach towards medicine. I want to be a practitioner that truly knows my patients and is able to treat their whole body, not just individual parts. This is the main reason why I chose to work at Whitney Green Acupuncture. Working here allows me to see how an Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine clinic functions. It allows me to work in a space where everyone I work with has a passion for health and wellness, along with a desire to see patients on the right track towards consistent healthy and happy living! Also, the environment here is so kind and encouraging so I really feel I can grow professionally.
My hobbies include: singing, reading, sleeping, and eating copious amounts of food. I also enjoy playing computer games with my friends! Spending the day hiking when the weather gets cold is also a way I like to spend my time.
Something many people don’t know about me is that despite my interest in health and medicine, I have a degree in English! My favorite play is, King Lear, and my favorite movie adaptation is, Much Ado About Nothing, with a moody and young Keanu Reeves. So if you ever need your essays revised, or you want to talk about Shakespeare, I’d be happy to help or nerd out with you.
