We specialize in chronic and acute pain for both men and women, due to sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, arthritis, and repetitive movements or activities that have to lead to pain. We also focus on women’s health, digestive health, and stress relief. We believe it is important to work with you as an individual, making changes that are reasonable and sustainable to meet your individual health goals.

We have a primary interest in women’s health, having personally experienced the benefits of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. We have experience treating women’s health issues such as irregular, painful, and heavy menstrual cyclespre-menstrual syndromeinfertility, and peri-menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and night sweats

Stress is high in the typical American lifestyle. We specialize in stress reduction and emotional support. We work with you to balance your body and emotions to help reduce your stressanxiety, and depression and promote your emotional health. We also teach methods that you can use at home to continue your treatment and manage your stress.

If the gut isn’t happy the body isn’t happy. We have studied nutrition for over eight years and we are passionate about improving health through food and diet alongside Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. Healing the digestive system and finding foods that are most nutritious for your body to improve your overall health. Acupuncture can help with weight lossirritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, constipation, diarrhea, and indigestion.

Our clinic is certified in Facial Rejuvenation. Dr. Whitney is trained in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, facial, neck, and abdominal protocols, which is a healthy safe method to improve skin tone while improving your overall health. Natasha is trained in Facial Cupping by the International Cupping Therapy Association. She uses very small, specialized cups to vitalize skin and drain fluids, causing a dramatic instant change in skin appearance and texture. Both facial treatments are perfect for looking your best whether you’re preventing the effects of aging, have a special event, or just as a treat for yourself.

About Dr. Whitney Green Bautista

Dr. Whitney is passionate about helping you reach your best health through Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Dr. Whitney is a Licensed Acupuncturist and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Dr. Whitney earned her Master Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in 2012 and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from Pacific College of Health Sciences (formerly Pacific College of Oriental Medicine) in 2020. Her most recent studies focused on evidence-informed practice, integrative diagnostics, research, and inter-professional communication.

Dr. Whitney has extensive training in sports injuries and pain management with her certificate in Whitfield Reaves Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program (2016). She is certified through National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) in the NADA protocol, an acupuncture protocol used for addiction, mental health, and emotional trauma. She is also certified to teach 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong through Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.

Dr. Whitney enjoys combining Traditional Chinese Medicine Nutrition with Nutrition Science. She has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutrition Science from Oregon State University (OSU) with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. In addition, she studied and received extensive clinical training in both Advanced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology through the prestigious Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. This specialized hospital-based training gives her a unique perspective and knowledge base from skilled Chinese doctors with which she can help patients achieve their best health.

Dr. Whitney is a native Oregonian and she loves spending time with her husband and son in the beautiful green outdoors. She enjoys combining her knowledge of Nutrition Science and Chinese Medical Nutrition in the kitchen. She has studied abroad and spent significant time in Central and South America. This has helped her develop her Spanish language proficiency as well as a great appreciation for diverse cultures and backgrounds. Dr. Whitney values giving back to the community she grew up in. One of the ways Dr. Whitney helps others is through the Tigard Rotary Club.

About Dr. Alvin Bautista DC, MS

Dr. Bautista was born and raised in Manila, Phillippines.  When he was twelve years old, he and his family moved to Beaverton, Oregon and has since called Oregon his home.  He graduated from Beaverton High School in 2005 and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon.

While studying at U of O, a class in Complementary and Alternative Medicine opened the door to the field of Chiropractic.  His interest in the field’s focus on hands on adjustments and movement as a therapeutic approach to health care and wellness solidified his career direction.  He chose to attend the Western States University in Portland, Oregon to study and be a chiropractic physician.

Growing up in an active home, he was always involved in sports.  In high school he swam, paddled, and played football and rugby.  This interest in sports grew to focus his education in sports medicine, neurology and functional movement. He graduated UWS with his chiropractic doctorate along with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science in 2014. 

Dr. Bautista has attended numerous treatment-based continuing education courses and specializes on the efficacy of chiropractic in treating whiplash injuries, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, soft tissue therapies, temporomandibular (TMJ) joint dysfunction, musculoskeletal disorders and wellness care.

While he is not active at the clinic, Dr. Bautista likes to spend time with his lovely wife, Whitney, relatives and friends.  Dr. Bautista is also involved in the local Filipino-American Friendship club.

His hobbies include: passionately cheering for the Oregon Ducks and Portland Trail Blazers, working out, exploring Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, travelling with his wife, paddling, rafting, playing the Ukulele, and taking care of his house plants.

Dr. Bautista’s primary focus is providing the best quality care in an ethical and affordable way while assisting his patients resume the activities they love.  He works closely with acupuncturists, naturopaths, physical therapists, personal trainers in the area as well as other medical facilities to provide the best care for his patients.
